Did you get emotional during the ceremony? I did. There's a photo of me after I received my degree where you can clearly see the tears welling up in my eyes.
That day (December 19, 2004) was without a doubt the happiest and proudest day of my life. Nothing else has or ever will come close.
I hope today was just as memorable for you.

Honestly, it was just very surreal for me... still is, kinda. I'm not sure what I need to do to make it feel real for myself... maybe print up some business cards that say "Cindy, MLIS". Would you like one? :)
Absolutely! I don't think you have my card either. We can make it official next week and do a formal exchange. :)
I remember feeling a bit surreal after the ceremony as well. It will take a few days for it to all sink in.
