Directionally challenged and hopeless
The hopeless part refers to me rather than my friend Kristine, who has shown unending patience with my pathetic inability to get from point A to point B without a combination of Google maps and cell phones.

I'm incapable of going many places--even places I've been many times--without a Google map. You are not alone. Now I'm off to Kristine's blog!
It's good to hear I'm not the only librarian afflicted with this. :)
